March 13th 2014 SUPPORT!

So, today I had my lesson and it went well

This week we worked On Der Neugierige the sixth song of the cycle. I really enjoy this song and it has much meaning and lots to interpret which is something that makes me really enjoy it.

But I'm having trouble actually singing what I feel and making it show in my voice by coloring and phrasing. I think the main reason for this problem is that I have not yet fully memorized the English translation. Which helps a lot with me relating to my songs (DUH!). I usually start to really try to understand the songs I sing by studying hard a week before  I am to perform because I'm so excited to give a great performance.

I've been telling myself for the longest amount time to stop this procrastination.

Im also  focusing on what I'm singing while I'm supporting like crazy. Im feeling as If I'm creating pearls in my stomach with all of this pressure I have to produce create to sing. I'M SWEATING!  My teachers tell me that singing is physical but this enough   of a workout to get a P.E. Waiver signed. I'm continuously trying to breath deep and around my lower back. With my voice changing it's starting to become necessary.

I like the idea that my voice is changing and changing for the better because I'm excited to see the end result. it's like my voice is a Pokemon evolving. I'm just getting used to actually thinking and concentrating about HOW I'm singing instead of just making sound.

We're almost halfway through the cycle and this week its started to get to me that I have A LOT of work to do and I should stop lagging and NASCAR this process
